101 Holes Of Golf For Our NHS Heroes

On Monday 21st June, 4 golfers will attempt to play 101 holes of golf at East Berkshire GC to raise as much money as possible for NHS Charities Together with the best golf raffle in the UK in 2021

101 Holes Of Golf For Our NHS Heroes

Taking their inspiration from the late Captain Sir Tom Moore, on Monday 21st June, 4 golfing friends will be playing 101 holes of golf. We chose 101 holes as this would have been Sir Tom’s 101st birthday this year.

We want to raise as much money as possible for NHS Charities Together – so we have put together what we think is the best golf raffall in the UK in 2021.

We have raided our golf connections and have been graced with donations from all corners. From the big brands like TaylorMade, Cobra and Srixon amongst others. Using connections with players and agents we have signed merchandise and memorabilia from players such as Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Henrik Stenson to name drop just a few of those people who have been kind enough to help out.

We already have 50 prizes up for grabs and will be adding more. You can see a full and up-to-date list of prizes by scrolling down this page.

Meet The Golfers

David Long

HCP 7

David is the founder of Babouche! Golf a British start-up that makes head covers and towels here in the UK.

Davis is a member at East Berkshire GC, where the 101 Holes challenge is taking place. This is his 1st ‘golfathon’ and still can’t quite believe that he agreed to do it.

David started his golf journey at the local Downshire GC at the age of 13 and was lucky enough to work in the same pro-shop as Barry Lane (European Tour, Ryder Cup etc) and Tim Barter (Sky TV). But they were assistant pros and David was picking up balls on the range as a weekend job!

Rory Woolridge

HCP 11

Rory is a young 65¾ old, he works with Accountants throughout the UK and of course plays golf.  He plays his golf at Cotswold Hills in Cheltenham and he is also a long standing member with the Business Golfing network, Fore Business.

This will be Rory’s 5th ‘Golfathon’ the first three at The Vale in Evesham, he has not said no to a seventh!  He will be supported by VoxxLife neurotech

Matt Robinson

HCP 14

A 43-year-old husband, and father of 2, Matt has been golfing on and off since he was 4 years old – and yes, he’s still not that good!

He runs branded merchandise agency BBS Promo and is quite often found on golf courses across the country, networking with other business owners, in his role as a Regional Ambassador for “FORE” Business.

Matt’s a member at Chiltern Forest GC in Halton, Bucks and has taken part in 1 ‘Golfathon’ before – playing 101 holes (with Matt N, Rory and another golfer) in June 2018.  This time round he is hoping to play under his handicap as much as possible to maximise the sponsorship on offer from BBS Promo.

Matt Niedzwiecki

hcp Scratch

Matt has grown up around professional sport for most of his life. His passion for golf started young but his initial career started in football.

Since finishing his football career, he has gone on to work for numerous sports agencies and working with some of the biggest sportsmen and women in the world.

For the last 5 years this journey has seen him work solely around golf and led him to now being the Brand Director at Me and My Golf, one of the biggest golf instruction platforms across the world.

He is fortunate to travel the world, doing something he loves and meeting some wonderful people along the way.

Away from work he is a husband and father with 3 daughters who are now trying to get into golf as well

This is his second ‘golfathon’ having previously completed one in 2018.
